About us
Definition of 'sutler' - a person who followed an army or maintained a store on an army post to sell provisions to the soldiers.
West Point Sutlers was formed in 1997. We are members of re-enactment societies in the UK and as we are re-enactors ourselves, we believe we know exactly what re-enactors and living historians want from their hobby. Throughout the summer season we travel around the UK to major re-enactments and multi-period events.
West Point Sutlers are Registered Firearms Dealers (RFD No. 1951 West Midlands). We recently took over Albion Small Arms following Ron Curley's retirement. Our pledge is to maintain the standard, reputation and quality service which Ron and Albion Small Arms has built up over the last 32 years. Visit Muskets and blank firers page to see the muzzle-loading muskets (17th-19th Century) we are able to supply.
We can carry out a wide range of gun repairs plus deactivations. Give us a call and discuss your requirements 0121 453 7016.
West Point Sutlers are able to provide period props to theatres, schools, museums, TV and film production companies. Props include: Spectacles, cut throat razors, vestas, domino sets, pocket watches and other period items.
If you are looking for props for a project, please contact us to discuss your requirements, you will find us approachable and willing to help you keep within your budget.
