IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ORDERING CLOTHING – please read carefully
Measurements cannot be varied, if you are providing the measurements yourself, please measure your chest, belly and waist carefully as we are unable to accept responsibility for garments that do not fit properly if you have measured yourself inaccurately. If in doubt please call for advice.
It is worth knowing that if you are new to re-enacting, your new clothes may well feel strange at first. This is because 19th Century clothing was made to fit differently to modern day clothing. Ladies clothing had dropped shoulders and tight bodices (apart from work clothes), fitted uniforms were meant to fit tightly (apart from uniforms used in battle which were loose fitting).
We reserve the right to refuse orders if we consider they are beyond reasonable expectations as awkward shapes and sizes cannot always be accommodated.
Please do not wash uniform items as they are made of wool and liable to shrink, we cannot accept responsibility for shrinkage due to washing, for this reason we recommend dry cleaning only.
Prices quoted may be changed without notice due to cost of materials and import charges. Please check our website for new items.
We can only accept returns on items if made within 10 days of receipt, after this time we reserve the right to refuse refunds or exchanges. Goods must be returned in the same condition as received unless damage is caused by faulty workmanship, in these circumstances only will a full refund or replacement be given. Normal wear and tear cannot be considered a fault.
(postage charges are intended as a guide only, if in doubt please call us for a quote)
